We determine if therapy is recommended or if abilities are age appropriate, and a write up (with goals and recommendations) and interpretation are included!

How to get started...

Step 1

Set a “Screener Day” at your school for all students who may be at risk for speech and language delay; this gives us a snapshot of the student’s abilities and tells us if an evaluation is needed; easy, inexpensive process that encourages teachers and parents to dive a little deeper.

Step 2

RTS reports the results and recommendations back to your school and each family individually.

Step 3

Evaluations are scheduled: this is an in-depth look at each student’s abilities in all speech, language, and physical therapy areas. This is what tells us if therapy is needed and includes a multi-page summary with goals and interpretation of results in an entire Plan of Care.

Step 4

RTS reports the results and recommendations back to your school and each family individually; therapy days are scheduled in coordination with the school and the families.

Step 5

RTS continuously available for support for students and families as needed; can make recommendations and interventions strategies for in-class/ at-home needs; available for additional screeners throughout the school year.

Teletherapy

In our society, there are many factors that create barriers for receiving quality therapy services: busy schedules, ailments, and access to care, just to name a few.

Teletherapy services -- or services conducted via a tablet, laptop, or computer -- allow for individuals to receive the quality care they deserve, in a way that’s most convenient for them.

If an evaluation is warranted, we will schedule a day that works for you and set up a time to walk you through exactly what you will need to get started.

Therapy sessions include both technological and physical activities. They also involve both the client AND parent training. This may vary from session to session, dependent on a variety of factors (e.g. the client’s ability to attend, age, parent training needed, etc)
